How We Started
Grace Note Music School was founded in 2016 by Ryan van Schalkwyk, a passionate musician.
What started off as a desire to teach, quickly became a larger dream and the school was started with just one teacher. We now boast several teachers offering lessons for a wide range of instruments.
Where We Are
We have laid a foundation that is focused on professionalism, knowledge and imparting joy.
Currently the school focuses on providing opportunities to teachers and students in various areas around Gauteng as well as targeting schools whereby we can work together and reach more people. If you would like us to approach your school, please let us know!
Where We're Going
The vision of this school is to largely develop music in South Africa; aiming to aid growth in our youth and bring joy into peoples lives.
We aspire to expand these opportunities to as many people as possible!

Music is a means of expression. If we can express ourselves, we learn more about ourselves in a very personal way.
Music connects us, moves us and teaches us. If playing, making or hearing music could change my life, it will change yours too.
